Sharing Wisdom, Spirituality, Humor
& Inspiration For Everyday Living
About The Blog
This blog was not originally my idea. It started with my work colleagues and a dear friend. I work as a hospice chaplain, and one of my roles is to spiritually support the hospice staff (in addition to the patients and their families). On a nearly weekly basis I would write a “Thought for the Day” and email it to the entire staff. My colleagues often told me how they loved what a wrote and how much it helped or supported them in their work and in their life. Several have told me, “You really should write a book, or a blog or something!” With so much negativity in the world today, you need some uplifting content. That's why I'm here with my new blog, Irreverent Life! Here, I post all sorts of positive, inspiring content with a hefty dose of humor to boot. That's because I want nothing more than to boost your mood to help you get through the day.
Spread Positivity
This blog is not about church dogma and religious things that divide. This blog is about all things spiritual and intended to share what we have in common. This blog is intended to be sometimes spiritual, sometimes funny, sometimes raging, sometimes sad. This blog is intended to speak to the everyday experiences of life and how we may find meaning in what we do and say, what we experience, what we learn from others, and what the Universe might be teaching us. My hope for all who read this is that you may be spiritually filled, uplifted with joy, and equipped for whatever comes your way. If you want to ask me specific questions feel free to message me directly.
Blessings to all.
